Issues like this, for me, tend to highlight how our institutions and organisations simply reflect our society. If society has a proportion of unsympathetic/emotionally devoid/ thick/ etc.. people in it then the institutions will to some extent reflect that. The behaviour of those policemen tells us something about USA culture and society just as much as it does about the policemen themselves. Same with our country. Not all police are like this of course....
Did we ever find out what punishment was given to the police officer who hit the Barnsley fan with the baton with massive force?
Entered plea of not guilty so referred for trial with scheduled date of March 2022 last I heard https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www....-yorkshire-police-officer-denies-20193968.amp
I wa a young little 2hat at the end of the eighties, you took some fist off coppers then, used to wear gloves so they didnt bruise there knuckles.
And here's the problem. The 'good apples' more often than not condone the behaviour by not reporting those carrying it out, which simply gives those doing it the belief that they are OK to do so. **** the 'good apples'.
