    They were so evenly matched in skill and power but Emma was just able to sustain it for longer. She was just relentless while Fernandez had to use controlled bursts of pressure.

    Outstanding match. Cut to five years time when everyone is fed up of every major final being between the same 2 players!

    Well that’s cheered me up after this afternoons captulation.
    What a great match. I’m almost disappointed it didn’t go to a 3rd set. But a stunning performance from Emma. One of the best performances I have seen in a tennis match
