I know it's not like watching the whole match live but we looked second best for most of the game. The team appeared disorganised , slow and were outplayed . Granted we gifted a couple of goals but if we dont get players back from injury and the coach get each player knowing what his role in the team is then it's going to be a long season . The defense looked as fragile which was not the case at all last season. Roll on Wednesday and a change of formation and attitude from the players and coach by what I have heaRd about the half time dugout scenario (if it's true)
I always expected things to get worse before they got better. Nothing has gone right in terms of injuries / suspensions / visas for players. That can't be laid at Schopps's door. Losing Morris was massive, but if we'd had the two Belgian lads up front we may have coped. Too early to draw conclusions. Stoke away is going to be very tricky. We really need to get behind the young team we have & give it a little bit of time. Blackburn at home is a game we could win & things would look rosier.
I won’t be watching them as I watched the whole match. For the first 10 mins we were ok but didn’t threaten. Bournemouth scored with their first attack and after that we barely got a kick. May have been different had Bournemouth had a guy sent off for the GBH on Williams. Should have been red. But it wasn’t. And we shouldn’t have been that poor
I'll forgive Collins for spilling the ball, as it can happen to anyone, and apart from that, he kept the score down. However, he needs to stop playing the ball out to the opposition on the edge of the box. That nearly led to two more goals.
The 15 minutes highlights on Sky was one way traffic. We could have lost by a lot more. The third goal was pathetic with Halme jogging and nobody sticking a foot in.
After stoke, blackburn at home blackpool away and forest at home 3 games we should be capable of getting things from see how we look at the end of the month much improvement needed.
Its interesting how the fixtures have fell , I have looked at the table & I might be wrong but have all our matches so far been against teams in the top half of the table ? It doesn"t alter either this week as we play Stoke next who are third .
If he dont get results in some of those,we'll be calling marcus Flop, lol we will be bottom of league.
We looked very lethargic on the highlights opposite to last season, it looked like Bouremouth were ready for our press and energy that just wasn’t there.
I must agree that it's been a castastrophe so far due to the permit fiasco, injuries and suspension. It's meant that we are fielding a makeshift team every match . But when are we going to see Oulare or Vita getting close to the first team. It seems to be dragging on and on. Even Benson and Ben Williams have joined the Injured lIst. As regards Vita is he too gonna be "not ready yet' even if he gets a work permit. Ronaldo didn't seem to have a permit problem or fitness issues and signed for Man Utd at the same time.
Just watched it and we didn't get a foothold. You have to give credit to Bournemouth though. Very impressive movement and quality on the ball. Sometimes you just have to say you got beaten by the better team. Timing of the second goal is critical too. At 1-0 just after half time, you have hope to get back in the game. Give such a soft goal away because of individual error and it knocks the stuffing out of you. We've seen first half at QPR we have quality to pass and play at pace. Get Morris and Andersen back in particular and the starting 11 immediately looks stronger.
