He said he wasn’t available to train. I may be the exception, but I don’t feel the need to know more details. That said if he came out with he wasn’t picked on merit I’d be concerned!
I must be overly naive, because I think if the manager makes a statement that a player is unavailable for training, and then he’s not picked, I don’t automatically assume that something sinister is afoot.
Benson is on the list of those unlikely to feature on Wednesday, according to the pre-match press release.
Yep, and given the lack of left backs available I guess it will have to be 3-4-3 with styles on the left and Gomes/Palmer central. Question is, how long can Palmer do in midweek after playing the whole game Saturday?
Nine likes. That's a lower number than the amount of times Schopp not being in the dugout at half time has been mentioned in separate posts by separate people. A rumour backed up by zero photographic evidence and one, that if true, would have been picked up by the local media or the home fans. A manager sitting in the dugout during half time is an absolutely mental story. Would have been shown everywhere and by Colin Murray and co.
Everybody loves a conspiracy story. To be fair there was little to talk about on Saturday, other than Bournemouth should have been down to 10 for the Ben Williams assault. After that it was the worst capitulation we've experienced for a long while. Normally we are in most games, but it could have been a lot worse. Let's not make it two in a row. Schopp has a tough job at the minute with little quality to chose from due to injuries / suspensions / visa issues. Let's keep the faith.
What if it wasn’t a knock? What if it was personal and Benson didn’t want people to know it was personal?
Well no one would be questioning it still now would they if that’s what he would have said. Sometimes saying little and letting people fill blanks in themselves causes more harm than good. As evidenced since Saturday.
I don't. Utter waste of time. Stupid and achieve nothing other than winding people up and making rumours worse.
The sad thing is, it came from one person on social media. Sorry, no, that's not the sad thing. The sad thing is the ease in which many chose to go along with it. Without anything to back it up. Imagine your brain being wired up in such a way that the club you love, support and follow, you believe anything negative said about it. Imagine that.
