    Do we have many options to not do that? We should have soon, but there's way too much chatter about Schopp's random team selections when he's pretty much picking the best players available

    He can’t win. Styles is the prime example, people will say he’s out of position whether he’s at LWB or CM.
    10 of the 11 on weds will pick themselves unless there’s players returning. Just a question of whether Iseka or Odour start.

    Maybe Victor provides a bit more muscle and he actually holds the ball up way better than Woodrow. Must be worth a start.

    Exactly this. How do you 'persist' with Styles in CM when he was probably playing LWB until Benson dropped out and Schopp deemed Gomes not fit enough to start? You're not persisting with something, you're trying to field the best side with the limited tools at your disposal.

    The good thing is that it is on Sky so I don't have to decide whether or not to shell out €11 for another pointless away defeat on iFollow.

    I'll watch on Sky more in hope than expectation but maybe this team are going to start surprising us again, sometime soon. Wednesday night would be a good start.

    I’m going tomorrow and must admit I’m not feeling very confident given our current lack of options. I’d be delighted with a draw but Really not expecting much. Don’t see the hiding that some are predicting but we’ll see. I find the disappointment and sometimes the annoyance of a loss doesn’t stay with me too long when I ‘ve actually attended the game. Hope we get a decent refereeing performance. 2-0 Stoke

    Yep. The biggest problem Schopp has with players out, is the batches of players out who in the same position. We now have Ben Williams, Jordan Williams, Kitching and Andersen who on the left of the back three. Which alongside Andersen means that Moon or Halme will play there tomorrow night. People will slate Schopp for the selection despite the fact he's had to pick fourth of fifth choice in that position. And people will wonder why we're struggling defensively down that channel.

    I'm same with last minute jitters. I don't get them in the ground. I only get them at home. I reckon it's because when you're with other fans in the ground the disappointment is shared and you get to vent on the way home or in the pub afterwards.
