Blackburn were under an embargo for submitting their accounts in line with government deadlines rather than EFL deadlines I think. That’s why they didn’t do much in the window till late on. Sold Armstrong but they’ve scored 4 goals this week, and can expect them to be more clinical than Stoke. Winnable game, but it’s another team in good form that we’re playing.
We can make excuses as to why we shouldn't beat every team in the league, blackpool the week after beat Fulham at home so we shouldn't expect a win there either. Sooner rather than later we have to start getting some wins on the board or were in trouble and Saturday is a game at home we should be looking to win.
Agree. And we should be trying to win every game, but so will the teams we play. It's just when you look back at results, there is context and circumstances that you have to consider when analysing them.
We started the game last night in 19th position. It's not surprising we've played more teams above us, than below.
My glass is at the halfway mark, I can't yet tell if it is half full or half empty. I keep seeing good signs, without us setting the world on fire, and a point v Stoke is a positive. However, but for one man playing a blinder, it could have been a drubbing. So positivity is tempered somewhat. Looking forward to a half full glass Saturday
