    Disappointed to see this:

It is self defeating isn't it. Put on an event and encourage visitors to spend their money in a neighbouring town. One day football will be normal.

this smacks of SYP making something out of nothing because they don’t want to save some money by having less officers in tarn

As has East Deane, they start making a habit of putting away fans in Wakey all the dirty Leeds head cases from Wakey will be on it. No police station in Wakefield anymore, what could possibly go wrong?

It's completely bizarre. I can only think of three pubs that are exclusively home fans only. Most of the time the decent places for a drink are relatively neutral places.

Plenty of town centre pubs are away friendly. That tweet is making something out of nothing.

I saw two Blackburn lads walking down Wellington St being turned away from every pub, I asked what they were looking for - they wanted a drink and just trying to get some food so l sent them down to Market Kitchen. I hope they let them in!

Absolutely sick of the us and them attitude that people have to football fans. If a Blackburn fan wants to have a drink or a meal in a pub they should be allowed to. The more we segregate and demonise people the more likely they are to cause trouble in my experience. The more we welcome them and show kindness the more likely they are to treat you with respect

I bet West Yorkshire Police love them. I wonder if they keep that up when it's Millwall.

I thought East Dene always welcomed away fans. And as others have said welcoming fans seems a much better way of avoiding trouble than telling them to go away

That is actually a bare faced lie. Bad news SYP.
The Dove is one of the best pre match pubs for away supporters I've ever been in.
