Well presumably Kitchen after his suspension, Benson,Vita, Jordan and Ben Williams,(possibly both) not yet Oulare,Anderson or Morris . 8 names there,I wonder how any team would cope with that maby injured players?

Don’t really see any of those other than Morris making a massive difference. Mads made great improvements when his main job was defending but looked to struggle playing from the back so not sure a return to that will help him

The rest are either bit time players or unknowns. Other than Morris and Mads none would you say were regular first teamers as of yet.

Benson would make a difference, not least because it would allow us to keep Brittain at wing back.

I think you’re being very pedantic there. J Williams, Mads, Kitching, Benson, Morris and possibly Oulare would be in the starting eleven.

I know it’s in vogue to be negative about the manager currently, but let’s not pretend he isn’t missing 8 of the 18 man squad.

Mads and Kitching should be an improvement on any of Moon/Halme/Sibbick. Benson is desperately needed back in midfield. Our frontline is totally ineffective without Morris, and if Oulare isn’t an improvement on Oduor/Adeboyejo/Frieser, then he should hang up his boots.

In short, I reckon we have 5 of our strongest XI out at the moment.

It’s not just about improving the Starting XI it’s the match day squad. All those players make us a stronger proposition and give us options for the first time this season.

We’re absolutely hamstrung at the moment because even starting players in their favoured and natural position isn’t a guarantee of 90 minutes there. As Gomes proved today. We’re trying to get players up to speed during the season rather than before.

Moon played well today but there’s no way Kitching doesn’t start of fit. I also think our favoured back three will be Kitching, Helik and Madds.

A 6ft 4 striker is bound to make a difference. Helps us see out games and flex our style.

mussed Benson on the list. You are right he would be in more then likely but seems marginally better so far then Palmer or Styles or Gomes. Don’t think he has been involved in creating or scoring a goal yet which is what he’s there for.

I'm with you on this. From what I've seen Benson could become a very good player.

missed Benson of the rest none have been regular starters so we don’t know either way. How many games has J Williams started over the last 18 months.

mads will be back but will now have to be a ball playing centre half so that worries me. Kitching I don’t think gets in The team. Started well but increasingly looks a liability. We will have to see where the manager goes with that one

oulare we just don’t know his fellow Wlgian who the manager clearly rates as the better/ fitter looks miles of the pace so that doesn’t bode well.

Think his link up play and ball retention are good.

yeah definitely best we have at the moment didn’t see his name in the list. But he definitely needs to supply bettter quality in an attacking sense. His passing is wayward and shooting poor so far. Replacing Mowatt is tough but that’s his job.

Wasn’t it Benson who put Sibbick through for his goal against Cardiff? Think we’re definitely missing someone who can create opportunities, most of our chances yesterday came from set pieces.

3 of our best chances came from individual brilliance from.odour to beat 3 men then hit the ball at the keeper.
Britain had the chance where odour finds him in acres of spaces and he volleys wide when he could take a touch.
Freisers Cross which helick headers on and vic narrowly misses at the back post.

We had opportunities its converting them thats the problem, yesterday coming out of the ground I heard 2 rovers fans speaking saying I don't know how they(barnsley) didn't score today.

As long as Benson isn't Ill with Covid he should be back next game .I like him, looks a very useful player with good vision.

No one knows anything until it happens but

Benson will help bring the best out of Gomes
Gomes will lift our midfield and playing out from the back to a different level.
Mads Helik and Kitchin will be a top back 3
Morris and Oulare without a doubt make us stronger.
When Iseka gets up to speed with English football there is no doubt talent there.
Vita has the pedigree to be a success here

    Other poinrs

We have a top goalkeeper in Collins
Woodrow has scored 50 goals for us
Styles and Brittain are quality wing backs and can adapt well to CM

This team challenges any in this division

    Collins
    Anderson Helik Kitchin
    Brittain Benson Gomes Styles
    Woodrow Oulare Morris

Having players like Walton J Williams Sibbick Frieser Iseka Vita Palmer on the bench only adds to our strength.

Odour Halme Moon Vic Cole B Williams not even making the bench

When Schopp has this at his disposal i will judge him then because that is some side and squad.

Had it in my head that the Helik chance was from a corner but maybe I’m mixing it up with the one that the keeper tipped over. Shame Odour didn’t just have the composure to dink one over the keeper’s leg into the corner, would’ve been an early contender for goal of the season

The way i see it is our defence havent been too bad as is but the left back position has been our weakness and we have let a lot of balls bounce that should be cleared with Sibbick. Kitching and Mads should help.

the biggest issue for me is still the midfield formation which seems unbalanced and lacking in creativity. I think Benson adds something here.

Upfront we have been a bit lightweight. I think Oduor who had an ok game will step down for Oulare or Morris whoever is fittest first.

I think we really need to decide whats our best midfield and focus there while trying to shore up the risk of how easy it is to get behind Styles left right now.
