Ahh yes of course Josh Benson who had played a grand total of zero games at this level prior to this season and thus far has looked okay and nothing more would get into the majority of championship sides. Come off it!

Its obvious that we overperformed last year. And anyone who suggests otherwise is blinkered to the extent that their arguements can’t be taken seriously.

As for this year, are we below the position i thought and hoped we would be at the moment but remember we have only had a small part of the season. So time to improve. Or of course get worse!

I think some people have/had decided the manager is no good so nothing will change their opinions.

To be clear, the point you are interjecting with is that the fact Benson played 1 game for Burnley in the premier league makes my suggestion that he isn’t a certain pick for many championship teams is wrong.

He didn't play one game for Burnley in the premier League, he payed against Man city twice for a start and he played against Sheffield United, and Leeds and... You get the point

Well I would argue 2 starts and 4 sub appearances and a loan to Grimsby is irrelevant to the argument that he should be a starter for most Championship teams.

But again. The point is that you are being a pedant. And that Benson wouldn’t be a starter for most championship teams.

Spot on Schopp is rubbish and when he is sacked and we get someone else in to allow these lads to play up to their true ability then we can all look back fondly saying wasnt Schopp rubbish and it was a good job we sacked him when we did.

I think you can over perform in the odd game not for over half a season.

None of our players have been called world beaters and some of our players have progressed a lot in experience since Struber was here.

Benson is a good footballer who will in a short space of time with more game time get better and better.
