    REDS FINED FOR STOKE CITY FRACAS
    Club News

    Barnsley Football Club and its coaching staff Tonda Eckert and Joseph Laumann have been fined for breaching FA rules during the September 15 clash with Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium.

    So why do our coaches have 3 and 2 game bans but the stoke ones including the one one who started the whole thing only get a one game ban - thats totally biased and unfair

    If we don't win the next 3 its because laumann is suspended massive loss.

    Maybe because our coach ran over and although it wasn't a punch like o Neil claimed he put his hand on the stoke coaches face.

    The stoke coach who ran into our technical area and pushed one coach then ran on and attacked our manager that stoke coach got a one game ban. Our guy who ran to the defence of our manager gets a 3 game ban - that just seems wrong to me

    Seprate to this i know but it will be interesting to see if the f.a fine blackpool for there fans launching flares and missiles to the away end at the weekend.

    It was a altercation between schopp and the stoke coach in our technical area then laumann ran over and waded in and it all esculated

    not gonna squabble about the punishment. however I'm not sure how they haven't all just had the same. that's the bit that might seem unfair.

    Given that we want more passion in the team at the moment, I would play Laumann up front and Eckhert in centre midfield against Forest, but warn them against stepping on the touch line.

    Thats my complaint - no issue with the bans given to our bench - its the fact that stoke have a much shorter ban when they were responsible for the whole fracas in the first place

    So Stoke City have been fined more as a club but individually our coaches have got the bigger fines.
    Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

    I suspect its down to the expression of violence. The acts of our coaches did seem to be more aggressive.

    I'd say so he shouldn't have come in our technical area and pushed schopp but the way our 2 reacted way more aggressive. Probably right for me.
