He won't drop Captain Goldenboots, cos that's the only reason he's still here.
"Undropdroppable, that's what you are ..." as Nat King Cole used to sing when he stood on the terraces at Oakwell.

Woodrow is throwing him under a bus. One of a few diabolical decisions he's made making him Captain instead of Helik.

To be fair to Woodrow I thought he played further foreward in the second half against Blackpool and looked more of a threat, all this tippy tappy falling over stuff 30-40 yards from goal doesn't get the best out of him.

Maybe change to a 3-5-2 and tell him not to track back so much.

Woodrow thinks he’s undropable he’s in a seemingly comfort zone and needs a kick up backside

Give Woodrow a break, it's not his fault we're under performing.
Great Pro in my opinion and we will turn a corner.

I wonder if it was Schopp that made him captain, if I get your drift.
Wouldn't surprise me if that decision was made for him by "other forces at work".

Yeah he's a year into a new improved contract with his re-sale value dropping by the minute. He needs to be in the shop window.

Same could've been said about Blackpool at the weekend.

We can do it but need to get back to the high press & moving the ball quickly. By that I don't mean long ball, but putting some energy into the game from the start.

I'd personally play 3 in midfield in a 3-5-2, with one of the midfield three in a more advanced position & two offering cover for our wing backs, Styles & Brittain, who need to push on & give us some width. If Jordan Williams is fit he could replace Brittain I guess on the right.

I'd like to see us doing that bring back the press try win the ball higher up the pitch. But I don't think schopp plays like that we don't press anymore and seem happy to let the opposition have time on the ball.

It seems strange though, as the policy since the take over has been to sign managers that play the high press. This does make me wonder that if we do lose the next two if that may be game up for Schopp?

Schopp needs to find a way of getting Woodrow into positions where he gets 2 or 3 chances a game rather than
Maybe a little hint of sarcasm.
Having said that we really do need to start imposing ourselves on games because Schopps honeymoon period is over.
