That performance was worrying, Schopp needs to go. Hasn’t got a clue how to manage us in this league!
Moon, Brittain, Williams J, Williams B, Odour, Frieser, Palmer, all absolute toilet. I forgot Victor in that list
@Fonzie Please say that 10 games is now enough rather than 9. That was truly shiezer of the highest order. Stevie Wonder could do a better job than this
Awful.. Truly awful We need to play 14 players to make up for the space we leave everywhere cos we’re just not competing for the ball maybe 5 at the back? Williams at RB Styles at LB where he was effective last season. Sibbick, Helik and Kitching central 3 Gomes has got to start. Ideally with Benson Brittain/Frieser on the right of mid. Odour/Iseka on the left of mid. 1 up front with interchanging players from midfield yes, 5-4-1 isn’t exactly an attacking formation, but we HAVE to stop shipping goals to bang average teams.
I had plenty of sympathy for Schopp before Saturday, given what he inherited in terms of disruption, players lost and expectation. And I do still have a bit of sympathy with him, but Saturday was unacceptable and today was even worse. Previous games has shown that he can’t set us up to play through teams and tonight showed he can’t set us up to press high without being left wide open at the back. Which begs the question, what can he do? Players aren’t playing for him from what I can see, time to call it a day I’m afraid. We looked better in our spells under Adam Murray.
That was about as bad as it could be against another poor side. I was pleased to see us on the front foot in the first 30 mins but boy did it unravel and when we look to Schopp for answers they just aren't there.
Give up... Playing the right players in the right positions is football 101. Schopp can't even grasp that basic concept.
Surely he has shown enough to be relieved of his duties. I am confident he will be home for the weekend.
Not really enjoying this headless chicken tactic we seem to be playing this season. I don’t see how getting injured players back would improve this tactic.
