Your a patient man ill give you that. I don't want to give it too long as i don't see any improvement and if were in trouble january signings will be harder to make. Conway and the board have alot to answer for aswell for me.
I'm not sure I can take any more of Odour up front, Moon at RB (or anywhere tbh), Styles in CM and big Vic within 100 miles of Oakwell.
Time to do what, exactly? He's inherited what was in essence (Mowatt and Dike aside) a playoff team and has only added to it and made us look absolutely dire. We haven't scored from open play in nearly 6 full games. The board need to act fast.
We needed to be organised after the interval, and we weren’t unfortunately. Complete lack of discipline in terms of players holding their position and making things difficult for the opposition. I can forgive getting picked off when we are chasing the game, but it’s inexcusable in a match we were winning.
Only 6 of our starting line up tonight we're regular starters last season. We're miles weaker personnel wise. But I also agree were doing worse than we should be.
Warning signs were there first half. Needed Frieser off and Gomes on at base of midfield. Bloke hasn’t a clue….
.. and so he should. We made the deal and should honour it financially. I question our due dilligence on this appointment.’
It’s pointless getting to the playoffs if we’re just going to go back to fighting relegation the following season. I know we’re technically out of our depth in this league, but look at Luton. We could’ve easily tried to keep the team settled with the same playing style, and even accept lower mid-table until new players settle, but I genuinely get the feeling we’re back to the typical relegation fodder we always seem to be. Im not here for the negative, toxic atmosphere around the place. We’re 10 games in and we’ve had one lucky win. He has to go.
The way we came out second half, pressing and working hard was so far away from the lacklustre performance in the first that I thought Schopp must have flipped his lid and put a rocket up them, but then they conceded the goal on the break and their heads dropped and they were woeful.
Penalty aside we did next to nowt in the 1st half. There's just nothing there that gives you any confidence he knows what the **** he's doing. If I could see a team structure, perhaps a bit of a plan then fair enough but I think the guy is completely out of his depth.
Sadly, I have to agree. He is way out of his depth and looks totally demoralised. One bright note, the substitution very late on shows we might have a seriously good forward in the making.
Oh don't get me wrong I didn't enjoy tonight, and I'm not sure I saw many positives apart from Collins, I just think it's too early to sack a Head Coach that's all.
Admire your stance. You stick to it. And I sort of get it. But I can't agree with it, it was clear we needed shoring up in midfield, and he just basically ignored it. It was almost like he has dared the club to sack him. He never played 343 in his previous jobs as far as I am aware, so why do it. He's changed our style, and strangely I kind of accepted him saying, I don't want to make too many changes at once. But I can't see what he's trying to do, and the players surely can't either.
Each to there own mate, I've no issues with other views (apart from when I called it daft yesterday when I was annoyed). Before Blackpool, I said half the season was a fair time period to judge him - but I think the next 5 games are critical now.
