    He's looked great. I've appreciated the 6-8 customary half volley overhead blind hoofs forward for the attacking players to fight for. Reminds me of the glory days.

    I'd hardly call them direct rivals. They're playing for promotion we are only out of the relegation places due to a points deduction.

    This isn't me claiming anything, or being certain/sure about stuff, because I leave that to such as yourself....

    But we had 10 points after 10 games last season.

    So we're two points worse off. Not great at all. Poor to be honest. It's been a real struggle hasn't it?

    But yeah.

    Imo they're our direct rivals for 0.03% of the year. For the rest it would actually be beneficial to us if they did well and took points off our relegation rivals

    You're right but didn't we change the manager at pretty much this exact point last season which is what caused the change in fortunes

    Hopefully there’s a fundamental change that leads to better results like there was last season. Whether that be a new coach, the existing coach doing things different or whatever else could have such an influence.
