After a successful season and getting through hopefully now the worst pandemic, look where we are now. A ground which is falling apart ie the west stand is a shambles and we haven't even got a bloody scoreboard that works. (How many other championship clubs are in a similar position with that one) . Now the management team are doing the same. We replaced Val Ismael with a guy who seems clueless and to cap it all we lost Murray too and never look to have appointed an assistant for Schopp other that the cone pushers who he inherited. The players arelaying out of position or being asked to play a system that they are not happy with whilst others can't even get in the starting line up Eg Remi Vita, Gomes and Cole (apart from today). We have Oulare who in the last 7 years has only managed 70 appearances (that tells you something). Mads Anderson ,Benson and Morris are injured which has weakened the side considerably. (I'm not blaming them as nobody wants to get injured) . Now the fans are at odds with some players after recent results. It ain't looking good
A Add to that more staff leaving with Sedgwick and Pilkington’s departures. The club is in a complete mess. One positive is that the new CEO thinks all is well and nothing is impossible. He’s not worried about relegation at all. Wonder how long it’ll take for reality to kick in….?
Precisely. If the board address the manager issue now, get someone in who can get the players performing to their abilities and organised we can finish the season in a comfortable position. which would leave us still operating within our means and encamped in the Championship. They need to act before we've slipped any further though.
I know. I can't believe he's still here. My post was just tongue in cheek to our YT. Whenever there's a bbs meltdarn we just get reminded how many games we've played. 21st in league. Can't score. Can't defend. All irrelevant.
I think we need a head coach and assistant soon. Look at Forest and how it's worked for them. Nothing against Schopp but he doesn't seem up to the task.
