They didn't say it was unsafe. They worded their statement veryyyyy carefully so as to imply that was the case without actually saying it was. Same as how they often say 'after ADVICE from...' never after being instructed just after advice but it shifts the blame to others without explicitly doing so
I have doubts over Victor Adeboyejo but theres a massive difference between that and thinking the guys unsafe.
I work in construction, we do a lot of work for local authorities and i know the hoops we are made to jump through with regards to planning, traffic management etc. If they want to make it difficult for you they can and will. Not saying this is the case here but to me it looks like the owners are being put under restrictions by the council which is affecting their income and they are fighting back. Shutting the west stand makes sense fincancially until it is rebuilt, not enough people sit in it to warrant opening it. A better stand would bring in more people. Better performances on the pitch would as well but where would they sit other than in a dodgy old stand.
Phase 4 is 'cover your ears so you can't hear the racist chanting' it's usually only used at Stoke games
Maybe there's been some substantial damage caused since so it was prudent to get another survey done? No point jumping to conclusions till the facts are established. All we've got so far are a weak statement from the club and a mardy arse statement from the council.
Isn't that the total reason why it's been done.. up yours to our own ST holders. Make up a story, keep em in the dark. While just to make a few extra quid off the blunts.. Was it Kalid's first bit of input? Ether him or Conway anyway. Great that.. big well done Bfc
