This is a statement with zero content. The fans are the people I care about & they are being thrown under the bus. Absolutely disgraceful. They have simply done this to save money & leverage their part of the negotiations. Sadly it will backfire massively, as I've stayed neutral on this spat up to now. It needs sorting, but this is not the way to conduct business.

I was advised to buy an electric car the last time I bought one. I didn't take the advice because advice isn't compulsory.

Completely agree. As with the Cryne dispute/Stendel leaving, once again, we are in a situation where we're having to choose who to believe.

And the club won't/aren't being wholly transparent - despite what they might say.

How is that legal action against Stendel we were told is imminent at the time going? I can't find any record of it.

Guess we should find out at the q&a.

    But we probably won't.

Adhering to health and safety laws in a commercial setting isn't compulsory?

Tbf, the one positive thing is that we've found a few more words that bypass the swear filter.

I've been critical of Schopp but what we've learned in this international break is the club is on its arse.
Can you honestly work under these conditions? Coaching staff and other employees leaving right left and centre.
From top 6 to falling over our own feet at every turn in 6 months. We're giving S6 a reason to be cheerful.

What has that got to do with advice? I don't think that people are usually advised that they're breaking the law but it's ok to let people be in an unsafe environment until we get to the international break.

Advice and orders are two very different things.

No matter what my position was at the club, head coach or turnstile operator, I'd be looking for something else. I couldn't in good conscience work for these people knowing what they're doing to people I consider friends

People want answers though and a lot were blaming BMBC for the closure. Fair enough in my opinion to counter this with their pov.

Oh Dear, what a pathetic statement. Only serves to amplify my lack of faith in what the owners say/do. I just don’t believe anything that comes out of the club any more.
Patronising, lacking in information and dismissive of people who have genuine concerns about their club. Seriously considering withdrawing my support until they start treating fans with a bit more respect.

They’ve got our ST money now though. Makes no difference at all to them whether we show up on match day or not.

What I don’t get is this, If there are genuine safety issues, and there may very well be, why not state what they are? Why wait 2 weeks? Why not explain why the council have got it wrong, if that is the case
Seems a bit of a non-statement. Can they not stick the ceo or operations director in front of a video camera to at least explain some of the issues?

True, but all anyone is doing, including you, is try to unpick garbage statements from two sides.

Is the club trustworthy? Probably not.
Is the council trustworthy? Hell no.

The only party we've yet to hear from are the Crynes and they're hardly an open book.

No because none of them have got the balls Gally. They need a couple of weeks to get their lies in order before they'll speak
