Wouldn't mind a game plan where we press from the front instead of just letting the opposition have the ball and put them under zero pressure.
Last season’s players were super fit and rarely injured. This season’s seem unfit and made of fine bone China. Not wanting to fuel the argument for Schopp out, but it strikes me as he is deploying totally the wrong training methods.
For balance here mate: - Dike, experienced? - When has Moon started in central midfield? If he has, how many games? - I’m not sure Kane moving on was solely the decision of Schopp and nobody else. I also believe it was in everyone’s interests at the time and will work in our favour long term
I was taking the piss with dike having experience hence why I said.on a serious note straight after. Moon started in central midfield when val was struggling with injuries of kane and mowatt was suspended I think v norwich last game of season. My comment was more to do with the millwall game when he could have done a straight swap gomes into Central midfield but he chose to bring sibbick on and move moon there so we had 4 center backs on the field. Not sure with kane surely he has more to offer than bringing moon on to play there or even more than styles has shown so far in Central midfield.
I was going to make a poker analogy too, sometimes when I’ve played a hand I just think “well I could have played that better but 7-2 off suit wasn’t exactly making it easy for me was it?”
Making excuses he's a dead duck, maybe the owners don't give a fk don't blame them given the stupidity from Barnsley Council but he's an amateur in a professional league. As for injuries I could pick a team and formation to beat Reading: 3-5-2 Collins Brittain Sibbick Helik Kitchen Styles Palmer Moon Gomes Iseka Woodrow Not rocket science keep it tight use set pieces but he'll have Odour and 3 up front cos he's clueless.
What ever happened to the owners philosophy of the high press?' Maybe go for the cheapest manager then try selling whatever strategy said manager adopts to the gullible fans...
Rumoured we paid £400k to get Schopp out of his contract so I don't think going for the cheapest manager was the strategy.
I don't know, but I'd like to think there is a clause in any manager's contract that states if you are averaging less than 1 point per game and we are in the relegation places after 15 games the amount we have to pay out is significantly less than if we're sat just outside the playoffs on a poor run of form.
