F**king hell! That’s a shocker! Regardless of political party, absolutely horrific. Tory MP stabbed multiple times in a church
Was going to post the same. Hate his party and their politics but this is a bloke nearly 70 years of age, stabbed multiple times in the chest by all accounts when doing an MP surgery at a Methodist church in Leigh on Sea. Horrendous.
This is terrible. I hope they put the culprit away for a very long time. Hope he pulls through. Which party he is from has no bearing on this at all.
Apparently I'm a lovely person...is that description sexual discrimination these days....asking for a friend...
Did you fail to read the word Agreed or didn't it fit with your agenda......... Betting its a right laugh in your house if jokes aren't allowed.... Enjoy your weekend that's one word not two just to clear up any mis representations
Shocking, hope he pulls through. Shouldn't happen in any society and we'll see how this plays out in due course. The why's and wherefores will undoubtedly be debated in the coming days and weeks.
I only hope its a slip by Sam Coates on sky, but he's using past tense to describe what people have said about Amess. Doesn't sound good at all. Irrespective of political opinion.
A witness said he's being worked on, and not been moved yet to the air ambulance. Fingers crossed and touching wood he pulls through.
Doesnt sound good does it. I hate the things the Tory party stand for but that's irrelevant in this case, Hope he can pull through - losing Jo Cox was bad enough, to lose David Amess as well would just make things a lot worse
Doing his constituency work and meeting his electorate. Something that Dan Jarvis doesn't do. Best wishes to him and that's from a vehement Tory hater!
Saw Dan at Penistone show had a good chat with him. He's bit off more than he can chew doing 2 roles. He's not my MP but was visible and welcomed folk coming up for chat. Have to say in recent months I've had to contact my local councillors and MP (Steph Peacock,) and they've all been good and stuck to their word. One a community issue and the other linked to someone who needed support in relation to a school issue.
Good if you've been helped. I assume Amess runs his face to face constituency surgeries regularly. Hence the comment. Sad state of affairs which will mean more politicians not holding live surgeries. First Cox now Amess. Bloody disgraceful whichever way you view it.
