Two weeks on since our last match and nothing has changed on the injury list front. Never seen this happening before at Oakwell.

Some absolute nuggets involved at the club. You make your own luck. There’s a reason why there’s so many injuries.

Injuries always last longer when a side is struggling. Different when things are going well.

Does make you wonder if we will see the likes of Anderson,Morris and Oulare before Christmas plus why did we sign Remi Vita when he clearly isn't going to feature in the foreseeable future.

In fact if you look at what Schopp said it seems that it actually might have got worse...

I think we'll see Elvis riding Shergar onto the pitch before we see Oulare in action.

It did we managed to lose 2 more during the international break and not get any fit. That’s quite a feat

I just don't trust schopp's judgement on the players, if Vita isn't better than either Williams we might aswel pack up.

Are they injured or just faking it because they don't want to play for him ....i wouldn't be surprised if a few more pulled up in training this week ...claiming injury
It can't be pleasant for the lads...going from 5th to 2nd bottom ....

It would beat that 'take penalties against Toby' thing. Could Lord Lucan get involved?

To be fair Kitching limped off after the Millwall game when he was trying to stop Woodrow knock one of our knuckledraggers out. He could barely walk.

They're paid to play, not mope about feeling sorry for themselves. I certainly don't think this is the case though but worrying that key staff leaving has affected fitness and injury levels.

I can’t believe the difference in fitness levels. I know we have lost the fitness coaches at the end of last year as well. But if somebody had been showing me how to be super fit last year, I’d probably still be doing that training.

I know we had more subs, but most look like they could not run for 10 mins never mind 90.

I’m just completely baffled. Plus on top of that, they seem to be really fragile, but last year could run through brick walls.

I suspect most elite athletes carry some sort of injury pretty much all the time, I would think to some extent how you let that effect you is psychological- if you are enjoying playing and can't wait for the next game you will push that pain away, if its a nightmare and you are not enjoying it, then....suddenly its an injury.

I also suspect that the pre-season preparation was so woefully inadequate that its causing so many injuries when they ramped up training too quickly to catch up and then throw in the games on top of that - playing Saturday-Tuesday/Wednesday-Saturday from a position of not being prepared physically is bound to cause injuries.

I was thinking that its a strange one, players seem to get worse not better
