They're with the shirts on seats and digital Access zone. In other words they're in the illegally mis-sold, falsely advertised section of the lawyer's office.
Barring working in Austria, Schopp and Ismael are chalk and cheese in their approach to the game. Why therefore after tasting success with Ismael's approach was Schopp chased for the job? Clearly the squad are accustomed to the high press, high effort game. To state they signed Schopp to refine the overall product now appears to be built on another lie. The guy clearly doesn't have clue about high press and high energy pressing. Not his fault, and to expect such a change in approach to materialise in a pre season is beyond naive. You can't experiment in the Championship until you're safe. Were Schopp and the summer signings highlighted via the spreadsheet and analytics? If not why not?
He was, maybe they wanted his style of play and management. They then fell in love with Val. The issue is after the success, we needed a continuity candidate not a totally new approach. If a new approach was agreed he needed his own staff to help change the culture. Currently he's a stand alone preacher of ideas no one else understands. The board took the 2 million and penny pinched on creating the foundations required for such a change.
Where do you see yourself in six months time - aside from league one and working at the New York Stadium?
Putting all the issues to one side, can we have ejector seats fitted for all the whining lovely people that sit near me?
11000 fans who have paid good money, know who and what the problem is, SCHOPP, why does'nt the CEO, conway, chien and the rest of them know. Probably the reason is they all know very little about football, especially English football.
It seems the analytical approach to signings has been replaced, is this because this process went through BFC Data Services Ltd, (James Cryne)?and Paul Conway refuses to use that option due to working relationships. why is the west stand closed? Is this because it is part owned by the council/cryne family? And is part of a tactic being used over the ground purchase issue? Are the above 2 issues related to the clubs falling behind of payments owed to purchase the club/And/or paying the £750k from club funds. On the above issues do the directors believe they are working in the best interests of the football club as they are bound to do?
To be honest that has been a problem for a long time now, little no football experience in the upper echelons within the club.
Maybe they need suing? I imagine it would be a pretty cut and dried case and they seem to like threatening everyone else with court action.
It really does annoy me that they weren’t immediately issued at the start of the season. I was within a whisker of upgrading to plus based on the advertised voucher but decided against it last minute. I don’t go away so not bothered about the points, the free shirt I could buy with the exact same money but £50 for a shirt and £50 back in vouchers almost swung it (could get a shirt for my dad too or if the expiry date was decent, use it for a shirt next season) I’m so angry that I was almost tricked out of £50 after loyalty I’ve shown them during pandemic.
Do the owners of the club realise that, as a result of their actions and words (and also lack of actions and words), I'm going for a walk in the Peak District next Sunday instead of going to Oakwell, even though I've got a season ticket? And, perhaps more importantly, do they care that people like me have totally lost interest because of the way the club is being run?
The owners of the club have been busy building up a portfolio of other football clubs around Europe. Has that affected the running of Barnsley F.C.? Why have so many members of staff chosen to leave the club? Is it due to the fact that the club is badly run?
1. On the subject of Comms from the club on pertinent issues, why do we hear more from Young Nudger, who has been banned for 2 years than we do from the club. 2. Any more thoughts on how we can 'improve the matchday experience'? It was an early promise. How come it is actually a worse experience. 3. Does anyone high up believe we will achieve Divisional Retention this year? If so, how?
