I am of course making assumptions, but I have to assume he offers something that we need but did not have before.
Everyone of them that comes back from injury will get a weight put on em unless they come back into a team showing a bit of form cos injuries have been some fans reasoning for our poor performances. Cole is he really 6` 1".
Putting all your eggs in one basket by pretty much stating Oulare is our saviour. Oulare or not I see no light at the end of the tunnel with Schopp at the helm.
Got all heights from Wikipedia, so could be wrong. I was just interested in what RR had to say about long ball into channels and height etc. So he's clearly our tallest forward, but I was a bit surprised that all of them more or less 6 footers. With exception of fridge and odour...
It is surprising cos some jump as though they are 5` 2". Fingers crossed he`s got something and can get fit. Although shouldn`t be playing if aint fit Mr Schopp.
I think its schopp's last throw of dice. I think he has heard the fans thoughts about it and he knows if he doesn't play him. He will not get another chance. Personally I think it has been a clash of personalities between the 2. But that doesn't mean that schopp won't play him in goal
Some of Schopp's decisions have been poor I agree, but the bloke has had no luck. Take Dike, Mowatt, Andersen, Solbauer and Morris out of last season's team and they'd struggle. Ismael was incredibly lucky to avoid injuries and suspensions. That team has had the guts ripped out of it.
I always thought that was down to a misheard/mis understood conversation between the manager and chairman, where he said "You need to get me a good striker, on a budget" And thus hilarity ensued.
He was the only player who looked really poor even during the half time sub warm ups, where they kick the ball across the pitch and do their little flick and tricks, he actually looked like I would if I'd got out the stand and taken the ball off one of them and done 10 keepy-uppies
Oulare is only on the bench cos the physio told him to sleep on a solid surface for his back problem...
Ismel didn't avoid injurys or suspensions kane was out injured, Morris had time out, mowatt got suspended, sol didn't play much because he picked Sibbick before him for the pace when playing a high line. From what I've seen people are clutching at straws if they think olure will come in and turn the season around. We leave so much space behind the wing backs its scary and we look clueless going forward. Time will tell though
No, he is actually only 4ft 6" , well thats what he measures when he is sat on the bench which is most of the time, why Mr Schopp ?
We won the appeal on Mowatt's red card , he regularly subbed Sol on/off so did make use of him agree he didn't have Kane though for some of the time due to injury but he also didn't seem to want to play him.
While ever we're playing the 5hitely woeful 3-4-3 it won't make any difference who is playing and who the coach is...
Didn’t Alex miss 2 games due to Covid just after his red? Nonetheless we did brilliantly with injuries last year, but it’s not down to luck. I’d suggest there’s a link between losing our sports science analyst and the core of the coaching team and the upturn in players being unable to play.
