Even my clapometer is knackered, but I have to believe we’ll win every time we go out. A cheeky 1-0, to the Reds. Late goal from Cauley.. we
We've probably more chance scoring on Saturday then ;-) Quite a few of the bits I've seen, I've quite enjoyed, as I said at the time, the first hour v QPR was sublime and some of the best fast paced slick football we've played for a very very long time. But we've had other pockets of good play in games but often faded badly or just not made it count. Granted, we've also had some shocking displays too, especially defensively with a crazy high line thats all over the.... place and gifting very easy chances.
3-1 Boro and Herr Clueless conference with the charisma of a dead squirrel ( same as he’s shown all along), blames closure of West stand or Palmer not being able to last 50 mins while makeshift striker Jack Walton lasts 90
I haven't seen much I've enjoyed this season bar the 1st half at qpr and I've watched every home game and now won't be attending anyway games after blackpool untill things turn around or schopp has gone. Can't say I'm looking forward to Sunday either. I'm not usually this negative but its very hard to be anything but at the minute.
Theres plenty of things I could feel down about at the minute, so forgive me for living with some form of hope that we have a chance of putting an inflated spherical object into a rectangular netted receptacle. ;-)
I think things might change when the players realise that if they continue in the same vain they'll be relegated. I think improvements in performance and results if and when they come will be in spite of Schopp not because of him. I can actually see the team rallying because nobody really gets cut seriously adrift unless they're dire.
Matchday and I`m still getting excited about the game tonight (all be it on the red button). Can`t help it! 2-0 to The Reds
The tables so tight that even a minor upturn in form will lift us into midtable. There have been a lot of draws this season. A run of win one, lose one will move us quickly up the table. I've a feeling results will change soon. Blackpool away was down to us being sloppy from our own throw. Forest we were outplayed. Millwall we worked on things and tightened up only to be undone by a set piece. Reading we were better going forward but undone by a long ball. We're getting closer.
Middlesbrough will think they only have to turn up. A lot will depend on which packet of cereal Schopp has had this morning for his team selection. I'd be hopeful of a win if we pick the right team with no weak links in there. If we line up with Ben Williams as an attacking wingback, a full back in central midfield (with Hondermarck or Gomes on the bench) and Oduor to the left of a front three we might as well chalk f cuk on it. That said if at 6:45pm the team sheet looks good we'll win.
I'd like to retract my Boro 6 Reds 0 prediction in the spirit of blind faith. Boro 0 Reds 1 (Woodrow pen )
