If by we, you mean the fans, then quite possibly. If you are talking about the owners and senior management of our global sports investment conglomerate, then I very much doubt he is on the spreadsheet.
I can't see him wanting to take over in this **** storm. TBH I think that would be the issue with any recognised manager TBH.
Dont think he is any more realistic an option than Wilder. I dont particularly like the guy but he would be an improvement on what we have but if we were in his market there are others I would have first We arent looking anyway Schopp hasnt even been given a vote of confidence yet
Fans impatient at a run of 4 straight defeats (conceding 6, scoring 1).... want to replace said coach with someone who has lost 6 in a row, conceding 15 in the process and scoring 1.
No thanks, at the first hint that he's not getting his own way or a better job he just resigns. Not a chance he would want the "hassle" at Barnsley and not a chance we'd pay him what he'd demand or give him access to the transfer budget he'd expect. I'd rather keep Schopp.
I think you will find it was mutual consent https://www.nufc.co.uk/news/latest-news/steve-bruce-leaves-newcastle-united-by-mutual-consent/
I was going to laugh at that and talk about compensation agreements etc but actually there might be something in that. Should the same people take over my company I would be looking for any excuse to leave and if they offered to pay me to go I would probably consent. I expect they agreed an amicable compensation package for him to go and also if his contract is now finished presumably he can take a new job when Schopp is fired
I'm starting to feel sorry for Schopp. I don't know why but I've gone from raging and wanting him sacking to not being arsed.
