Am I right in thinking he signed a 3 year contract?

Hopefully you mean with Vodafone for an iPhone 13, and not with a football club that made the playoffs last season….

Well, I'm sure if the owners put the 750k back into the club they took to pay their own purchase fee, it should be enough to get shut of the asshole

It’s crossed my mind that they don’t want to pay him off….

I've got some problems with the suspension in my car and the balcony window has started leaking when it pisses it down with rain. I'm not particularly enthusiastic about the prospect of coughing up to fix either of those two things, but doing so is easily better than the probable consequences if I don't. Not to mention it'll probably save me money in the long run.

Absurd “industry” that rewards you for failure instead of just being shown the door. Bruce will be set up for life with his golden handshake/mutual consent etc. we know players are paid obscene amounts of money but managers get their share of it

You'd think exit triggers would be written in manager's contracts such as 'lose 10 games in a row', 'no goals in 10 games' etc. There must be some way out for clubs when the manager doesn't even try.

Won't the contract have a specific amount payable if the club terminates it, just as there'd be a specific amount payable if another club wished to appoint the Head Coach?

I’d guess we would choose the gardening leave option until he gets some other mug to give him a job.

I'd love to give Schopp the gardening leave option under my bloody compost heap

I've got some gardening that needs doing.

On second thoughts, forget it. I'll do it myself
