    Really ? Made Hamilton into an established SPL team, gained promotion with Norwich then made Preston a top 10 Championship club consistently before owners sold all their best players and worked on a very small budget before being harshly sacked.

    I don’t think it unrealistic that we could attract him. He will fancy his ability to get a team that finished 5th turned around but our owners wouldn’t go for it in a million years

    I'd disagree. Norwich are perennial leap froggers between the Prem and Championship. He took them up and then back down again, no different to what Farke is doing now.
    He kept Preston as a mainly top half team for the four or so seasons he had in charge, what more has anyone else done there in recent times?
    Not sure who you think we could attract with a much better record at Championship level.

    You and me and most on here would do well in the SPL,if he was any good he’d be in a job,yes he did well at Norwich and half decent at Preston but he’s one of those Merry go round managers and would either jump ship or get sack if he came here.Ryan Lowe would be my pick but this lot won’t go for him.

    Not sure a manager that’s only had 3 jobs would be classed as a “merry go round” manager. But I agree with you on Ryan Lowe he’d be my first choice then Neil as 2nd option.

    But we know it’ll be another Austrian / German coach appointed if the time comes.
