Couldn't they live stream this on that there Twitter spaces? Save some poor bugger (Gally) typing it all up. You can even take questions from those online on it?
No because as has always been the case, if it's second hand information they can claim that it was misinterpreted or in other ways distance themselves from what is said. Patrick was an expert at this and so is conman
Club has given utter ******** excuses for everything from what I'm reading on twitter. Same old same old
Barnsley FC matchday drinkers feed. Not much info but covers the basics - looks like there'll be a transcript on here at some stage tomorrow.
Apparently the club have accepted they should have been quicker to quash rumours and give clear information. This is despite the fact that the stand was closed two weeks ago and jist a few days ago they refused to give an update. Their excuses given tonight don't seem to match up at all with their previous claim of it all being down to safety issues following an extensive structural report. Now it's simply that the stand is wooden (no **** Sherlock) and all the other reasons are just as the council stated, minor advisory things such as refreshment stand accessibility (looks like the east stand needs to close too then), turnstile accessibility (looks like the east stand needs to close too then) 'hidden steps' whatever they are, a wall that was repaired a year ago etc. Beevor court is closed just because it is. Deal with it. Scoreboard is tested daily. Really? How bizarre. Everyone from the west stand has been contacted directly by the club. Instantly disproved by a fan who hasn't. Fans need to shut up and stop making accusations. **** off Khaled. Be transparent and we won't.

Just had a look on there and not happy with it. We've not been at Oakwell for 18 monrhs, plenty of opportunity to sort things out.
There is so much ******** it's unbelievable. My favourite one is when asked about why so many members of staff have left and about staff being unhappy his response is 'the ones that are left are happy'. And what about all the ones who walked? Have you considered why you have such a high turnover of staff?
The only thing that will make these owners sit up is a Blackpool style boycott response, sadly I think we'd have to be L2 before some could see we're being pillocked.
Also a big thankyou to matchday drinkers for giving updates, much like with everyone who attends these meetings on our behalf and gives feedback their hardwork is appreciated
"No fear of relegation" is the one that got me, as it suggests complete denial of a problem. I'd like to see the proper transcript of this in due course as it needs to be understood in proper context, but as a snippet, that's alarming.
Looking to be a cashless stadium taking away consumer choice is going to save me some money from not spending. I hate contactless where you can easily be robbed and if I am spending less than a fiver I don't want to tap in my pin I want to hand over a few pound coins. Oh well plenty of businesses around town that will take the custom and provide better priced products and more choice.
I've been using contactless for years and have never been robbed. I never carry cash anymore. I doubt anyone else is arsed about that segment of the meeting if im honest!
