He could have announced he'd sacked Schopp that would have been met with a huge amount of positivity on here Im sure.

But he couldn’t announce it because he’s not sacked him, and that’s not the channel to announce such things anyway.

Was hoping to see something on here tonight ! I will check in the morning assuming there will be a breakdown but from the tidbits sounds like I’ll be disappointed.

Gally is going to try to respond tomorrow mate. Time permitting. Some of the stuff that are sound bites via twatter do not relate to the 2 hr discussions.
All questions were answered.( I’ve seen some tripe posted on this thread re tonight’s meeting. Based on assumptions.)Some things were explained fully. Some palatable some not. ( but honest ) The CEO took full responsibility for the closure of the stand and explained to everyone’s (I believe) satisfaction as to why the press and Directors were still using the centre section. Due to efl regulations. The West stand issue raised answers that they will be called to account for, if they fail.
But on the whole some of the replies were not as straightforward as some like to portray. I personally said the communications with the fans need to have more clarification.
You know. as well as I do. Written comments do not always relate to, face to face meetings. Interpretation can sometimes belie the truth.

I'd choose contactless over having to get cash out every day of the week

Look forward to what I believe will be an accurate and fair reflection of what was discussed.
In the meantime can I ask was you satisfied the questions were answered honestly?
Not asking for content to questions etc, if you agreed or liked/disliked answer just did you feel they were answered honestly?

Called at my Mum and Dads on the way home for a brew so only just back in York.
The club made a recording and will put out some minutes
If there are gaps we’ll include them in our notes
Will put some more stuff in tomorrow but I’m knackered
There was a lot talked about but didn’t get through everything in the time allocated

I can only take what I see at face value. As I said. The CEO made the decision to close the west stand based on the information he got from the experts. I saw no reason to disbelieve him.

The stewarding position was made pretty clear. In that It released ours for other duties and others have been brought in via other steward management companies. Hence the extra allocation to Sheffield united.

Eg The turnstiles were to be opened at the Millwall game at 1:30 pm. Out of 10 stewards required for that time. Only 1 turned up. Causing the turnstiles unable to be opened until 2pm .
The increase for forest came about because forest sold out their initial request.

Why don't they just publish the recording, if they're that interested in being transparent?

I genuinely don’t understand why it can’t be available either on the club YouTube or iFollow
It would seem quite a good way to be transparent

All Club staff are transparent. But some are more transparent than others

They have no interest in being transparent. They do it this way to keep the waters muddied.

It wasn't a professional recording, just a mechanism to enable the notes to be taken. I think it's a fair point though. Plenty can be lost in translation either as a summary or even as a transcription of what was said.

I don't know how civilised it was last night, but in a boozer, with a live video camera and 80-150 disgruntled fans, I'm not sure they'd be able to release a recording anyway.

In terms of recording or broadcasting it live, and I wasn’t there last night to know how it went or was structured, but both Ben Mansfield and Patrick said it could be done but you’d lose the personable intentions of it.

Knowing it’s being streamed would reduce the openness or ‘off the record’ comments and it essentially becomes a press conference with deliberately worded answers and updates. Maybe that’s exactly what we need right now, but you could do that in print really. I think the original objectives for some of these was to build relationships with supporter groups and you can only do that by having some form of casual approach to it, rather than knowing fans, players and employees of all clubs could be watching.

If he doesn’t fear relegation when we are second bottom and playing ***** , when will he fear it

Wonder if he doesn't fear it cos he knows a change in manager is just around the corner?

Or is that just wishful thinking.

Or wild optimism on his part?

Or he did a big bag of drugs just before the forum.
