Next up, the lads who struggle to pronounce the 2nd part of their teams name. Sheffield yoooonited.

Dem blades find themselves 17th in the league after a poor start. They've began to recover after picking up just 2 points from their first 5 fixtures. That being said, they have lost 3 of their last 4.

Away from home, United have 5 points from 6 fixtures. A 3-1 victory over Hull being their only away triumph this season.

Our head to head at Oakwell has been quite mixed. It's 3 years since our last league meeting at Oakwell, when Oli McBurnie and Tom Bradshaw both struck in the last 15 to hand us a 3-2 win. The fixture prior to that is often regarded as the fixture which kickstarted our 15/16 campaign, when Conor Hourihane equalised in the 95th minute.

In 1995, Barnsley and Sheffield United played at Oakwell on a Sunday in front of TV cameras (I've got the DVD somewhere). I believe one of the stands was closed that day too? Maybe it was before the Ponte was opened? We threw away a 2 goal half time lead to draw 2-2. I'm not sure whether that's an omen or not.

We've got to score at some point. I'm going for 2-1, with Woodrow and Oulare on the scoresheet.

Same 2 scorers for me too, late on, to leave the manager saying he's seen solutions and signs of progress
Unfortunately Blunts will be 4 up by then and not many Reds will see our goals.

Can also see frustration leading to at least one red card, further weakening us before Xmas.

    1-4

By the law of averages we have to score at some point but by the same token at some point some team is going to score a hatful against us.

2-1 Sheff Utd. For all the talk of how bad we are we aren’t getting any hammerings & I can’t see that changing here. Extra quality & experience in the Blades side will show & give them the edge.

I can see us flying out of the traps and scoring early. Then missing a guilt edged chance to make it 2-0 before Sheffield Utd equalise. 1-1 at Half-Time. We burst out of the traps quickly in the second half and have quite a lot of pressure but just failing with that final ball. Helik and Moon are suckered into a false sense of security by our pressure. Sheff Utd chip a ball down the flank and Sheff Utd get behind us and make it 1-2. The heads go down and after a period of stalemate. Sheff Utd cap off a fine win with a late third. Final Score 1-3. Over to you at the studio Jeff.

3 nil Blunts. Schopp to still be in charge after.

Desperately hope I'm wrong on both counts.

Was that the game where Nathan Blake ended Gary Fleming's career?

    2-1 win.

Schopp hailed a tactical genius as he switches to a 9-0-1 formation with Collins getting the winner as he goes on a mazy McCourtesque dribble, beating every blunt player twice, and rolling the ball in with his left eyebrow.

Sadly, many fans don't believe we've won after the ground emptied after 8 seconds as a Hourihane through ball is swept in by McBurnie as fans fear the worst.

Anti Schopp chants can be heard outside the West Stand as 10s of protestors show their ire, only exacerbated by the clubs offer of alcohol free beer to pacify them.

It was, and Kelly pulled off an unbelievable save to deny a header, think it was Liddell, but could have been Payton.

Reds win 2-0 with some assistance from a home-biased referee.
Two Woodrow penalties, one in each half.
    Collins MOTM.

Barnsley 0 the other side of the senario I don't know because it depends which blunts team turns up if it's the one that misses chances like we do we may get away with 0 if Conner is in the mood and Billy blunt has his shooting boots on it could get messy very messy.
