Dem blades find themselves 17th in the league after a poor start. They've began to recover after picking up just 2 points from their first 5 fixtures. That being said, they have lost 3 of their last 4.

Our head to head at Oakwell has been quite mixed. It's 3 years since our last league meeting at Oakwell, when Oli McBurnie and Tom Bradshaw both struck in the last 15 to hand us a 3-2 win. The fixture prior to that is often regarded as the fixture which kickstarted our 15/16 campaign, when Conor Hourihane equalised in the 95th minute.

In 1995, Barnsley and Sheffield United played at Oakwell on a Sunday in front of TV cameras (I've got the DVD somewhere). I believe one of the stands was closed that day too? I can see us flying out of the traps and scoring early. Then missing a guilt edged chance to make it 2-0 before Sheffield Utd equalise. 1-1 at Half-Time. We burst out of the traps quickly in the second half and have quite a lot of pressure but just failing with that final ball. Helik and Moon are suckered into a false sense of security by our pressure. Sheff Utd chip a ball down the flank and Sheff Utd get behind us and make it 1-2. The heads go down and after a period of stalemate. Sheff Utd cap off a fine win with a late third. Final Score 1-3. Over to you at the studio Jeff.
