who’s going to win this time? Can’t see past India myself, but with such a short format no doubt we’ll see some shocks.

Their recent record at world cups is poor for a side with so much quality. I’m going for England. Hope Afghanistan can do well too.

    Early bath for Ireland!

Just hope we can get off to a good start and avenge that shocking final defeat.

Us to beat India in the final.

We were in the car travelling home with poor radio reception.

I still don’t quite accept what happened

Betting suggests it’s between India and England but 7/1 for Australia seems to stand out to me.
    Their bowling attack is frightening

Australia are useless. Their best batters are all ageing. Warner is out of form. Smith couldn't get in the Delhi Captials side. Maxwell is in form but very hit and miss. They are heavily reliant on the bowlers saving the day.

South Africa will do better than people expect and I would have them to beat Australia this morning. They have played more T20 than anyone in recent times and did well against ourselves earlier this year, not disgracing themselves. Nortje and Rabada are as good as any opening bowling partnership. De Kock is as good as any opener and wicketkeeper. Van Der Dussen got a century in the last warm up match. David Miller can win a game on his own.

Australia open with the ageing and out of form duo of Finch and Warner. Smith couldn't get games in the IPL. Zampa isn't a spinner to be scared of. Marsh, Stoinis and Wade aren't going to strike fear in to a bowler.

Aussies with all the luck. Kock out to a fluke, a stupid run out and then Markram finding a fielder who didn't have to move.

Good match that. Love a close low scoring contest as much as someone chasing down 200+.

Some big batters in the WI side. Should be a good game.
