    Muted from the outset.

    Then frustrated and tetchy if we start to struggle.

    Once we go behind it will be hostile.

    If we go behind, are struggling like hell to compete and generally look as poor as we have recently, it will get a bit toxic.

    No matter what these pathetic owners are doing to our club it is not the fault of the players , I will do what I always do & get behind the team , if I am not happy about the performance I will do my moaning in the car on the way home & on here or if I feel like it take it out on the cat !! The last thing the players need is the crowd on their backs so hopefully the atmosphere is a positive one .

    Even when we're on a good run, Sunday afternoon games always seem a bit flat. Usually less fans and half of them probably still hungover. I don't think it'll be too hostile, Barnsley fans normally just vote with their feet by not going or leaving early.

    The worst performance I've seen on a Sunday at this level, was a 0-2 defeat against Port Vale under super John.
    Get beat tomorrow, and fingers crossed, Schopp will be gone

    The problem is none of the 80% mob will be there to see it. It's not like when PC and JD were in the directors box watching the poor performances week after week and hearing the crowd becoming more and more hostile as the weeks went by.
    The 80% percent mob will be thousands of miles away looking at player value spreadsheets hoping to see their values going up because of Schopps wonderful playing style and tactical awareness.

    It will be muted nothingness like it has been for the last 15-20 years.

    This sudden clamouring for direct action will lead to absolutely nothing, unless direct action means 50-60 year old men grumbling under their breath.

    Barnsley supporters have to be some of the least vociferous I’ve ever seen, even during the good times. It’s all well and good bairning on here, it won’t make an iota of difference.
