They responded pretty well to Big Val’s no nonsense approach.
I don’t get the negativity re Mick. Yes, it’s gone sour for him at Cardiff but he did turn them round last season.
I’ve always thought and hoped he would come home and one day manage us.
It seems that the fates have conspired to provide the perfect opportunity and how fitting it would be were Mick to end up where he started.
So be silent you band of nay sayers and instead demand the coronation of one of our own.
Sad thing is that he probably wouldn’t want to work for our charlatan owners.

Mick doesn’t need a Coronation, he’s already held in such high esteem, another reason not to appoint him

I'd argue Val's approach was slightly different though and we also had Dike up front. Who definitely does suit more direct play. And I'm not being negative towards Mick, I think he's a brilliant manager. However, I also think our current crop of players don't suit his style of play.

Good god no, what a stupid post. He's finished as a manager in the top two divisions.

Mick`s a Barnsley legend, being manager could taint that if he fails so no thanks, same as Redders.

A vastly experienced and successful manager when he has the players to work with. I'd love to see him at Oakwell, but only under owners who were focused on the best interests of this club.

If Macca was to return and the results and performances continued the same would the reds fans try to destroy his and his family’s ‘lives’, as they are with Schopp, l ask because hasn’t Macca already just been through weeks of the same abuse from the Welsh fans. There’s only so much a man can take!

I’d be happier if he was partnering Helik in defence.

From the horse's mouth: "what would I have to gain?"

Dennis approached Mick on at least three occasions and was knocked back each time.

"......club and town too important to me to take that on"

    Stop this nonsense, ffs.....

Much like our performance on Sunday- lacks a cohesive plan and virtually no effort.

No thank you. This would take him from Hero to zero at the speed of light.

Conway is waiting to scour the European Market for our next Head Coach. There's nobody that fits the criteria available yet so they haven't sacked Schopp.

Waste of a campain - He wouldnt come , the board wouldnt select him and whilst I am sure we would all get behind him if he did come very few think he is the right man now.
Maybe if we were after a director of football he might be a good option but we arent
