Ashton Gate. A notoriously difficult ground for us to visit. However, Carlton Morris broke the near 30 year hoodoo there earlier in the year. Whilst Bristol City currently have twice as many points on the board as us, their form is certainly waning. They've lost 3 of their last 4 in all competitions, and are below us in the home form table. They've not won at home since January, which stretches back past our last visit there. As I say, our last visit to Ashton Gate was our first victory there since back to back winning visits there in the early 90s. I get the feeling this will be a game of little quality, and whilst it's historically been a high scoring affair in the recent past, goals might be at a premium. They might not as well, so as I said in another thread, Bristol City 0-5 Barnsley. You reds!!!
Seriously, I can see us playing quite well for 45 mins, we miss a fair few chances and Bristol score right on HT. 2nd half we play crap again and go on to lose 3-0 or 3-1.
Saturday is the day when everything falls into place. Reds to win 5-0. Schopp cheered for 30 minutes after the final whistle by the travelling faithful, who in twenty years time will be able say, "I was there."
Taking inspiration from Ross County last night - Schoppball starts on Saturday Bristol City 1 Barnsley 3
1-0 Bristol. J Williams back to left back. Styles playing central. Gomes dropping to the bench, Hondermarck out of the squad altogether. Cole out of the 18, 5 different changes of formation in 10 second half minutes
