Yes. But anyone with an ounce of intelligence knows that you can't time it better than putting it out on the same morning the 5th Test is cancelled. Some might call that being cynical but it's a PR companies dream scenario.
Or maybe as there is nothing else to fill the cricket slot all day it might get more focus on it ? Anyway, whatever the reason it is at least in the public domain now
I think the cancellation of the final test, with the outcome being announced as a forfeit and then retracted, along with concerns that the India team are just trying to protect their IPL availability, will leap frog this news.
They won't release the report unless they are legally forced to. Maybe its because the names named in the report may hold significant positions within the organisation and the team......
At this stage its just a massive @rse covering exercise to protect those in high places at the club who oversaw or actively were involved in unsavory racist bullying. In my opinion.
A club in denial, no disciplinary action to be taken against any player, employee or executive. Sorry but Yorkshire are a disgrace. Let's just sweep it under the carpet, nothing to see here. Azeem Rafiq: Yorkshire will not take disciplinary action over allegations of racism by former player - BBC Sport
Yorkshire should be banned from hosting any international Cricket until they get their act together. They shouldn't be protecting people who have been racist. NAME THEM. I think we could both name at least two guys in a position of power at Yorkshire who were there when Rafiq was and are still there now being protected.....
They're not my County, they don't represent mine and most of the beliefs of Yorkshire people. This goes right to the top, only reason why this is happening is because maybe just maybe it's the head coach who is named. Maybe a few top ranking executives were made aware and then they tried to keep a lid on. Basically complicit and undermining an investigation which could have legal ramifications attached.
Hope they get a towelling all next year, and every day they have an international it rains cats and dogs. The club is institutionally racist, more super talented lads from Asian backgrounds haven't been given a chance. I've seen it first hand in the 1990s. I also witnessed first hand the class based favouritism. Many lads overlooked due to their backgrounds and regional bias. Just cos your mum and dad don't make 6 figures or you don't have newest Gray Nicholls bat. Makes me sick we have a Barnsley and Monk Bretton lad at the very top overseeing some of this mess.
