or should that be WHEN. We will go below them in the bottom slot. Now if tha's not finally enough to get rid of him then I don't know what is.
After beating Derby and Hull we'll be five points clear of the bottom two and looking up at the teams above us. Please bump this thread at 5pm on Saturday to show e how wrong my prediction is/was.
Let’s hope this is the case, and then we continue to build and improve and move into safety. I couldn’t be happier if that happened and most of us were proven to be wrong.
Do you seriously think he will turn it around? 4 points from a possible 42 1 win in 16 6 defeats on spin If he stays were down.
We were by far the better team today other than an eight minute spell before half time. Should have scored 3/4 goals, should have had a penalty, had players giving it their all which I’ve personally questioned in recent games. We fought for every ball right until the last second, which should be a given anyway, but is at least a positive sign. Granted Bristol City were poor. But we used the ball well, looked creative, had players on the same wavelength, and I think we can go and beat Derby on Wednesday. Why can’t we? And if we do, why can’t we go and beat Hull as well straight after? Benson’s involvement was a massive positive too. Plus Oulare back from illness to add a different option. After today I don’t even mind Moon in midfield. We’ve been guilty of not breaking play up recently and he does that. Struggles on the ball, but he adds a presence and bite in there and played really well. Potentially, if we persist with playing a two, he might allow Benson to dictate more than Palmer or Gomes would allow him to.
Wish I could think like that the way we concede is far too easy for me one ball over the top causes our suicidal high line so many problems and it has all season. We should have got something today against a poor Bristol side who haven't won at home since January. I don't trust schopp against derby or Hull I would get shut ASAP we should have after blackpool. We will see this time next week I suppose.
If they hadn’t have got something they’d have been saying the same about us. I really don’t get the line about them not winning at home when we’re in such poor form ourselves. They haven’t lost every game at home in that time - but we failed to pick up a single point in October. Defence is a worry. But Collins only had one save to make today outside of the goals. Was probably his quietest afternoon other than being up front for the corner at the end.
Loko, you're tying yourself in knots on this in my opinion. We're saying that it's an indication of how bad we are that we couldn't beat a team that hasn't won at home in 17. You're saying we're not that bad but couldn't be expected to beat them because...we're bad.
That’s not what I’m saying at all with no knots being tied. I’m saying I get looking at a team’s form when you’re having a half decent season, but when your form is equally as bad then it really goes out of the window. I didn’t look at their form today and thought it made it any easier because I knew they’d be looking at ours and being just as critical.
But the tone of your posts today seems to be back on the "everything's going to be ok because we had chances" line. We lost. Again.
