I wouldn't use the phrase utter contempt but I was very unimpressed with the press conference in which he said the two Belgians were not being selected due to fitness issues. It transpired that neither had a work permit. The worst part of that, in my opinion, was that it resulted in many people questioning the professionalism of these players. Maybe this incident isn't an example of utter contempt, but I really don't think it's an example of respect, to the press recording his words, Barnsley fans to whom this message is being conveyed, or the players who are unable to play due to legislation. To be honest, I can't think of any example of when I've been impressed by him in all the time he's been here. I don't find any compulsion to throw abuse at him, but I haven't read any either. I'm not saying there isn't any on other social media sites, I'm sure there is, but there's very little if any on here and this is the only platform I read. With that in mind I question why the OP is chastising everyone so.
But wasn’t he right anyway? They weren’t fit enough. Iseka wasn’t fit enough for another month & still can’t do 90 mins & Oulare’s not ready to start a game 2 months on. Even if they had their visa’s they wouldn’t have been available
