    The word legend could mean anybody has applied. Club legend Mick McCarthy? Wilder would be seen a legend for the Blunts? Legendary Football players trying to make a name for it in management like JFH or Sol Campbell?

    Anyone betting on Wilder wants their head checking. He's the opposite of what the board tends to go for and there's nothing credible suggesting they want him or that he wants to come.

    I think the reference to Macca is that he is a true Barnsley fc legend unlike Campbell etc who might be classed as football legends but have no connection to our club.
