That makes a lot more sense than Iseka.. although in principle Oulare looks like he could fit the spreadsheet criteria as I'm much as I'm aware of them .. ie based on the previous signing pattern.

The facts? Which word did I start this thread with? Was it 'if'? I think it was. How does a fact start with if? Come on love, explain this to us all, explain how a fact starts with 'if'.

I said a few weeks ago that he has something special about him. Now he’s getting his fitness, he’s showing it. It was a really great touch and finish.

    Me too.

But there are a number of articles in The Chronicle and any number of posts on here that criticise the club for signing people outside the spreadsheet. One of those signings was Iseka. I think Iseka is a good signing. I, therefore, think that criticism of the board on this subject is unwarranted. If you think I'm wrong in that opinion, fine. I'll certainly listen to you on why you think that is and respond accordingly.

This is like when Benitez launched his facts tirade against Fergie...

Why do I think you're wrong in what opinion? That the Chron said Iseka wasn't a spreadsheet signing and wrote opinion pieces regarding other transfers? Why would I say you were wrong about what a newspaper printed?

All I'm saying is, unless someone has something concrete from the club regarding spreadsheet signings then I'm sticking to my opinion that nobody has a clue who is or isn't, and therefore it's a bit of a non-discussion as far as I'm concerned.

I'm starting with an apology as I don't want to argue with you.. so Jay, I'm sorry.

All I meant us the claim that Iseka being a non spreadsheet signing was news to me. I've heard it said about Ritzmaier, Frieser and Sollbauer.. and possibly Cole although as Redvesp said we don't actually know who really was or wasn't signed by what method. We all know how transparent this board is!

Seriously though this clearly went the wrong way. I wasn't intending to offend.. Genuine apologies. We won! Up the reds!

I’d love to see the lads at your pub.

frieser isn’t amazing but is a trier who is worth a squad place.

could it be hyperbole? It must be!

I said on here too he was head and shoulders above the rest of our players.
3 goals in 3 games proves he is good enough at this level.
I was desperate to see Oulare up front last 15 minutes holding it up ,he looks a ducking unit

I think it was tongue in cheek. Either that or Jay’s pub’s pub team is class. Even professional footballers that appear average are bloody brilliant in my experience.

Yeah, it was hyperbole. And yes, Frieser works his arse off, and is therefore worthy of praise, and I give it to him. But he really can't play, he just can't.

Iseka may not have been a spreadsheet signing, but Oulare was touted for big things in Belgium. I was really shocked we managed to get him. Oulare is different, he's got all the attributes but injuries have derailed him. He also struggled to adapt when he moved to Watford.

I thought Frieser was too old to be a spreadsheet signing

Whichever way we found out about him he's a cracking find and we'd be much further up the table with him available since game 1.
