I think the entertainment index is measured by how far you can get ones index finger up ones sphincter .
Woodrow played as a no10 if anything so definitely wasn’t the same set up as schopp we played decent stuff last night and yes we rode our luck at times or derby created some decent chances that’s all we deserved to win.. you didn’t like val.. you didn’t like last night are you just a fan of morons that are in charge of us Johnson and schopp?? To what you gain from going against grain I’ll never know
I do not gain anything. I simply say what I believe and I try to justify it and explain it. It is harder on here than it is face to face, but whatever you think, never think that I do not care about the club, or wish it the best. It isn't my views that go from one extreme to the other dependent on the latest set of results, is it. I never over-react, and that cannot be said of others.
I stopped reading at “Minority Report” because I knew what was coming. I used to write very long match reports in this and my former guise but there was a difference. I just wrote my account of the match for those who hadn’t been and who might appreciate an independent view. It was an honest opinion of how the day went. There was no in-depth and, frankly, boring analysis of what is (for most of us) just a simple game. Some might enjoy this kind of “reporting”. I stopped trying to understand them some time ago.
I stopped reading at "I stopped reading". Because I know these types of posts are just always only about the poster and not the substance.
what an epic post xxxx ,4 kisses for it, because we can pi55 and moan all we want, but "all that we can do is watch them play"
Sorry, Prince of R mentions himself and Red Rain in his post, I see you said you stopped reading his I stopped reading reply but was the poster and substance you refer to; Red Rain's and his original post or Prince of R's reply?
One thing I would say RR... I certainly respect your opinion and appreciate you putting some non kneejerk reaction on the board, but as to thinking Derby were the better side, I'm at a bit of a loss with that...so much so that it made me wonder what the Derby fans thought of the game, Now I accept that in defeat there is often an outpouring of emotion that may be over the top but having ploughed through their matchday thread I couldn't find a single Derby happy clapper. This comment was probably one of the most generous to the Rams. '' Shame about the last minute, thought we scored. Didn’t deserve anything anyway. Looked very poor tonight. Gifted second goal. Didn’t start playing until 87 minutes. Barnsley should have had a peno. Abject performance. Ebosele looked bright. Morrison on the ball a lot. Disjointed everywhere. Relegation form and performance. Awful''
We won for only the 2nd time this season. We have been on a terrible run which included 7 straight defeats. Last night was at times exciting, at times tense, but the overriding feeling of relief at the final whistle was there for all to see. To try and dismiss last nights effort and result with some kind of made up index is just ludicrous
I think we were comfortably the better team but i also question the 343 obsession when we just don't have the players to implement it effectively' also i thought the transition from back to front was slow and laboured at times and this thing with woodrow backing in constantly is getting tedious as he never gets anything from it' that said it was a vast improvement and i think once we get Morris back and hopefully oulare more involved we'll be fine..
Do you believe what you have quoted from this Derby fan to be accurate? It is obviously a disappointed observation from a fan of the losing team. They did not only start playing in the 87th minute. They were camped in our box for most of the last 15 minutes. They were passing it about nicely for parts of the game., a game that could have gone either way. Their goalie had little to do apart from catching a point blank header. If it's the Styles pen he's referring to, then it was not a pen. The rest of the quote goes on about how bad they were, as you do when you've lost. I happen to think that on balance we were probably better in terms of purpose. But one man's deflection v another man's crossbarred header means it was close. RR can have his own opinion. I'm not sure your Derby fan provides the crucial killer witness statement to prove him wrong.
I stopped reading at "I stopped reading at "I stopped reading". ". Because I thought it would make an amusing and meta post.
A lot of Derby fans were bemoaning their pedestrian passing. I thought we were more exciting going forward although we took almost 5 mins at the start of the game to get going, a better team would have scored against us in that time.
You're absolutely blinded by your hatred of a system that works and have long since lost any ability to watch a game of football with rational thought
