He said he was definitely going to retire at the end of the season in 2019 so I'd be surprised if he takes another role on to be honest.
There's absolutely no logical reason why he'd carry on. Except he clearly loves football management. He lives and breathes it. He'd be going out of his mind with boredom if he was out of the game for more than a few months, and he knows it.
He strikes me as the kind of manager you'd love if he was managing your team. When he isn't his antics puts you off. I've heard some bad stories about him in the past but I'm guessing he's probably a nice bloke outside of footy.
He wouldn't come here because in January he'd want to sign 2 or 3 players with bags of experience and would they allow that,I doubt it
If for argument's sake he was interested, perhaps him being appointed until the end of the season wouldn't bother him as much as say another manager on a longer deal who would want more control.
He is what we need......but he would want 2/3 big ugly (dark arts ) players that would galvanise our squad.
I've heard he's a really decent bloke, but I certainly wouldn't want to get on the wrong side him! I used to hate him when he was Blunts manager, but he basically thrives off winding other people up. I honestly think he's just what we need right now. Would get the defence sorted in an instant, and is the only person I can think of who could motivate our squad in the same way that Val did.
Apparently he’s said that this will be his last season, but the season isn’t over yet. I’d take him in a heartbeat, but suspect he’ll either end up at Hull or back at Cardiff
Our CEO says he isnt scared of relegation remember and would prefer an inexperienced manager rather than an experienced one who would keep us up
