Because I can guarantee Mr Fat controller Conway will have delayed proceedings to see if Laumann is any good, you know, the cheap option. So back to square one ffs! We need a new man in Tomorrow to get them out on the training pitch sharpish on Monday! We need a disciplinarian to whip these pussys into shape! Oh my god thinking of Val is making me cry, please come back!!!!
Whoever takes over have to protect Jasper Moon imo . He’s been thrown into games and positions he should never have been in and it’s gonna smash any confidence the lad has if he’s any left . Should never have been in back three today IMO Laumanns benn caught between Moon and Hull city .
Warnock wouldn’t agree to come here with interference that seems to be coming down from above. He just wouldn’t put up with it
Been some crazy suggestions on here the last week. Chris Wilder? Eddie Howe? Steve Bruce? And now Daniel Farke. We're deluding ourselves to think managers of this caliber would take a position here. Alex Neil seems to be the only credible candidate.
Just typed a reply and deleted it because I couldn’t be bothered. There’s plenty, seriously plenty, to have a go at the club about right now, but making things up that go against all evidence out there just looks petty, misguided, and not right clever. We paid to get Struber and Schopp out of their club contracts. We basically begged Stendel to join. We employed Val. Nothing about any of them screams cheap option.
Mr Warnock until the end of the season for me then see what if the supporters want to invest in a new season ticket or not for the 1st division if things have gone badly. We will then know how much money we'll have to spend. Obviously hoping we stay up but we need plan b in case.
And yet who had heard of Morais, Stendel, Struber, Ismael or Schopp? I get they may not have been cheap in BFC terms, but I suspect none of them were paid even an average Championship head coach's salary. This clearly makes the appointment of a Wilder, Bruce, Warnock - or even possibly an Alex Neil extremely unlikely. The club in recent times doesn't make that type of appointment. That said, until yesterday I'd have been in favour of Joseph Laumann being given a reasonable go at it. But I have to say the team selection - and changing a winning side - was troubling. If only we could have had Joseph with Terry Nutkins' Dad at his shoulder to guide!
I would have thought JL was always going to get these two games to give time for interviews. The players get a few days off now aswell. So it was alway going to be next week. Middle of next week I'd guess.. new coach by Wednesday.. players return Thursday.. but it's going to be a struggle for whoever gets it..
Yeah... Going to be a young yes man for me who is more than happy with the plan.. just to get the job. Someone out of work or another clubs youth coach.. Out of the names I've seen I'd guess it's Michael Flynn. But it could also be a Central European under 18s coach..
