You best get Wiki fired up because its nailed on the next "manager" will be another foreign coach who no one has heard of. Absolutely no chance the 80% mob will want a proper manager who will want control of signings etc. That rules out Alex Neil, Colin W and company. Hope I am wrong, but can't see them changing their way of working now.
Farke fits the bill to a tee IMO , coaching and style . Whether he’d come or the board would push the boat out is another thing but he’s the Top end of what the club are looking for imo .
Wouldn't it be fun having Warnock though. Never s dull moment when he is about. Would be a good uplift for moral and he has nothing to prove in terms of his ability to motivate a team. May only be a short term solution but how many long term managers have we had of late. Suppose he would be a non-starter though because he wouldn't have the sell on potential that the owners would seek.
Ryan Lowe Michael Flynn Neil Warnock Or Darren Moore Michael Appleton Simon Weaver (he can bring his dad to replace Conway and co too…)
Neil Warnock. Alex Neil. Paul Warne. If Rotherham was recently an attractive option for Warnock we should be. Alex Neil did well at PNE making them some good money on player sales. Paul Warne has until the end of next season on his contract but to buy it out shouldn't be too costly.
Paul Warne not suited to the BFC job imo and that’s assuming he’d leave a Chairman that values him for a basket case company like PMG Unless the money was too good to turn down and knowing our board it won’t be . Alex Neil would want his own staff and the board won’t go down that path IMO . Daniel Farke would IMO be in the top end of what these owners are after both in coaching and getting the best out of existing players but would they pay and would he come ?
Wilder gone to Middlesbrough hasn't he? Seen summat on Twitter about it this morning, so he's off your list
i hear what you're saying JLWB but who could have forecast the success we had with Stendel,Struber and Val. I don't think theres any method or data to predict a good manager sometimes its the luck of the draw or simply a case of horses for courses.
After watching Plymouth play I wouldn't be against somebody like Ryan Lowe. They play a pressing game and attack without fear he also shows a lot of passion on the touchline. Would he be tempted? possibly it can't be any fun with the amount of travelling he has to do from Plymouth.
Aren’t Plymouth top of league 1? He’d be mad to come here. Have any names been linked beyond the usual bookies lists? Only seen Boa Morte so far.
Their choice of Head Coach will show their doubters & detractors (like myself) what the short and long term plans for the club are. It will also reflect whether long term fans will financially back them.
