It's been pretty dire at Oakwell this season and there are numerous things wrong at the club that are well documented and commented upon on this forum. But things will take an upturn at some point.....wont they?
The year is 2045,desperation is all to see at Oakwell.Conway has run out of paint and the future looks pretty grim.
It’s getting harder to see exactly what to have faith in. & I never though I’d hear myself say that. We can take the odd relegation, but it’s starting to feel like a free fall, we’ve seen happen to other clubs.
Callum Brittain rampages through the undergrowth down the right, to sky yet another shot over what remains of the Ponty roof. Still no goal for the plucky wing-back in 1143 appearances....
Not sure about freefall, but it's starting to feel like the death of a thousand cuts. Hardly a week goes by without something else to feel gloomy about.
It's true and as a club we have come so far in a since Nov 2020 just go go backwards in an equally short time. But the CEO words about finishing 5th being a bad season for player sales sums it up for me.Present board with exception of J Cryne have no empathy with the town, club or fans. They will move on when the club is not able to boost their coffers. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
Lol brilliant. Got to feel for the lad. And I can't wait to see how he celebrates IF he finally breaks his duck
No,sadly Pete,I think after 4 years of investigation we have discovered the truth about this ownership. I predict relegation this season and a period of time in the first division. What happens then? Who knows.
Stayaway fans in their hundreds watch from that hill in the background, arranging themselves to form huge numbers to give the scoreline.
