Best list so far for me, all realistic and with the ability to improve us instantly, maybe add big Mick too.

He was. Blackwell didn't exactly cover himself in glory during the following days & weeks. only1kp's attitude is shared by many on here.

Morgan was the thug, but some of the crap Blackwell came out with at the time was dispicable

He was probably blindly supporting his player which plenty on here do with certain players. We can't have it both ways.

Totally agree but he was talking **** to rightly or wrongly protect his player which every manager would do.

Forgive me, but in over fifty years of following Barnsley I've never heard one fan/player/manager needing to blindly support one of our players who has deliberately set out to injure an opposing player resulting in a fractured skull.

Hulme could quite easily have lost his life due to the injury sustained. In Blackwells world Hulme was the assailant and not the victim. I respect your opinion but i also stand by mine that i wouldnt want him anywhere near my football club

Stop putting words in my mouth. I said he deliberately fouled Hume which resulted in a fractured skull
I don't want Blackwell at our club and haven't forgotten nor forgiven him. Others can think what they like about him.

Hulme didn't lose his life and I'm sure he went on to play again thankfully.
Managers not seeing the obvious when it supports their club is a common trait in football unfortunately.
