I'd play him left wing back, as backup to Styles. Like move Styles into the middle and play him rather then J Williams, who was crap on Saturday. I know we have that invisible player from Germany as well, so why even bother with Williams, he's not good enough at this level.

Williams deserves a chance to play in his favoured position. Which he'll get for at least one game while Brittain is banned.

Williams is twice the wing back Oduor is, and one of the few players who came out of Saturday with any credibility for me.

    Opinions though eh?

I like Williams, tidy little player. But we badly need a left footer on that side - we've got no chance of any width otherwise.

Vita has been a great success though. One from the spreadsheet? Or another Conway masterclass?

He certainly would benefit from being played on the right. I don't think you can drop Brittain though as he does have the ability to create. He got 2 assists against Derby.

For all we know, Vita is the best wing back at the club though. It's down to Schopp/Laumann or whoever comes in to give him a chance. It's similar to a lad Wednesday had last season, I forget his name. Been at the club 2 years, Bruce, Monk and Pulis didn't fancy him. Darren Moore brought him in when he took over and he was their most consistent performer at the end of the season. Left at the end of the season having turned down a new deal, and went to Celtic despite interest from Leeds also. Ironically, it's a similar situation to when we first signed Oduor. Stendel didn't fancy him for whatever reason, but he did well under Struber when he first took over.

Fair points, can't argue with that.

I honestly think 3-5-2 is the way to go. We're far too lightweight in midfield.

I'd swap Brittain and Benson for Williams and Hondermarck though. Or even Vita for Hondermarck and have Styles central.

That's why I like it. It gives us flexibility. Then the three subs during the 90 mins could be a winger, central midfielder and a striker.

If we move to 3 in the middle (which we've seemed to be needing to do all season), I'd like to see Styles in the middle. A midfield of Styles, Gomes and Palmer, while inexperienced wouldn't seem quite a novice as Benson and Gomes as a 2. Would also leave us with the options of Hondermarck and Benson to come off the bench.

Only trouble is, if Styles goes central, not sure who would go left wing back. Probably should see what Vita has to offer.
