    There’s a big difference in being young and not knowing better, especially in different times.
    In the 70’s in football there were whole ‘ends’ bouncing up and down bellowing out about going P*** bashing.

    I've found it so hard to go through the first 40 years of my life without making racial slurs towards others. I honestly don't know how I've managed it.

    This looks to be yet another fairly explosive development. A letter from unnamed staff members, strongly critical of Rafiq, and arguing that Moxon and Mark Arthur have been subject to "grossly unfair" treatment.

    The response of the staff of YCC does seem to be the polar opposite of the general sentiment on this issue. There seems to be very little contrition from within.

    That article is strange to say the least.

    It basically says that because Rafiq is a nobhead, then people were OK to racially abuse him.

    News just breaking that Mark Arthur has resigned as Chief Exec.

    That's a significant step forward, in my opinion. I'd expect Moxon will inevitably follow once his stress-related absence ends.

    I recently was on conversion with someone who coached Rafiq.

    Some of his comments made me lost for words.

    Lets just say that there are two sides to every story.

    The thing is though, no matter how much of a ******** somebody is, racism is surely not the answer?

    I've mentioned the stillborn story before in a previous thread - I've been aware of that story for a while. They were actually clockwatching during a meeting when he was asking to extend his compassionate leave. Now that's not right, whatever you think of the personalities involved.
