looked nailed on lbw 1st up, umpire must have thought bat 1st otherwise a poor call
53 off 6 should still be a breeze for them

Very strange. No issue with him not taking the knee because it should be personal choice. But own your decision by explaining it rather than being secretive about it.

I know it’s early doors but my forecast for the four to qualify is England, Australia, Pakistan and India.

Pakistan look to be the best all round team so far, but I still fancy Australia.

well i opted to watch eng v aus and looks like i made the best call
we were absolutely brutal today, can only see Pakistan upsetting us, though India in a semi will be trickier

Australia were really poor today. We absolutely hammered them I don’t see Australia doing much if they play like that against any good side

They’re a bang average T20 side. They seem to pick on name rather than performances these days. I don’t think any of their batters get in our side.

Beautiful piece from the Sydney Morning Herald website. I always enjoy a look at their Cricket section, especially when playing us.

We wasn't quite as bad as the scenario I posted the other day, but with three down both sides were 10/11 to win so we were great odds to recover like we do nine times out of ten. Jos played a cracking innings and now has a century for England in all three forms of the game.

    Won toss, England bowl 1st.
Wood for mills improves the side if he's fit.
SA got some work to do to qualify even if they win!

I think the injury to Mills might be one injury too many. He was the wicket taker in the middle overs and bowled well at the death. We only really have Jordan to bowl at the death now.

The Roy replacement decision should be to include Billings and push Bairstow back to his opening slot.
Tom Curran bowls a good yorker and I think he was a death bowler in the Big Bash and IP leagues.
A late decision is to be made but, to me, it’s logical to replace a batsman with a batsman .. sorry batter with batter.

    Any opinions ???

I’m not sure about Tom Curran. He bowls at the end, but rarely very well.

I’d replace Roy with Vince. He was leading scorer in last seasons big bash.

Apparently, this particular pitch gives a bit of bounce as showed by previous games so that may mean Curran or even Topley ?

Anyway methinks Morgan will have the final decision and he presumably didn’t advocate Vince to go in first place.

Could be either Bairstow or Malan to open with woakes moving up. Willey, Curran or Topley could then come in. My preference would be Willey.
Hopefully if Butler's form continues that would suit Malan who starts a bit slower.
Should be a terrific match up with Morgan and Williamson.
Morgan is probably at the top of the tree for cool, clear thinking in this form of cricket.
I would like to see him as a future England coach.
