I seem to spend most of my time on here complaining so time for a thankyou. As mentioned before Ad Nausium I have been kicked out of my West Stand Upper seat. My Dad moved us both to the East Lower but by the time he got to the club the only seats together were by the corner flag or on the front 2 rows so he picked 2 seats that were close to each other in better locations mine directly behind his but with a row in between. I looked at the seating plan for the Swansea game and saw that the seat in the row between us over my Dads shoulder is now free. It wasnt at the time Dad moved us so I guess a ST holder moved there and then decided to either move again or get a refund. Anyway I now moved my seat so at least I am one row behind him and only one seat to the left - the Lass in the box office couldn't have been more helpful and my new card is going in the post today - and I already have my electronic pass in on my phone If only the rest of the club was as helpful as the Box office we would be in a much better state.
I totally agree, too. I recently dealt with Andrea, too - I have always found the Box Office staff to be top notch!
Agreed, my dealings with the box office whilst changing seats were excellent too. Lions led by donkeys......
Reminds me I must enquire with them what’s happening with the RR+ vouchers, allegedly a few weeks ago the print quality was poor ! After 7 months an absolute **** show
The box office staff have been brilliant all the time I have watched us. More of a shock than our box office staff being brilliant is you coming up all that way for a midweek night game. You must be barmy
Im not that barmy not for a game like that but I have now moved so I will closer to Dad for the Huddersfield game and following matches though I dont think I will come up for WBA now its on Sky on a Friday
Crikey. I made a 400 mile round trip for nearly 25 years. That includes the Spackman/Hodges/Parkin era plus the Johnson era as well. It's me that must be mad
Ive been doing it for longer than that though did come up less frequently in the 1990's so only saw a few games each under Spackman/Hodges/Parkin - but also unfortunately Wilson 1 , Been coming fairly regularly since we exited Admin though
Don't wish to score points or owt, but I haven't missed a home game for nearly 30 years. Also I can count on one hand the number of home games I've missed since about 1988. I lived 6 years in Birmingham and 23 years in Reading
There are some great, local, normal folk working at the football club in very trying times. I think Beth and co do a great job keeping the machines oiled and running
They were excellent on every occasion I have dealt with them over the West Stand job. They sounded as bewildered and frustrated as the fans. I hope they’re getting a decent Christmas party this year, they bloody deserve one.
Andrea was superb with me when giving me our refunds. Had a season ticket with my mates since 1997 now sadly we have all had refunds
I wonder if they have the number who have asked for refunds yet. Seems so futile to lose loyal Barnsley fans like yourselves.
