Who is the best player we’ve had on loan (that didn’t sign for us permanently)?

Do people actually think Kent was good at Barnsley? I thought he offered nothing and cost us more goals in bad decision making and fannying about with tricks on the half way line than he created.

Molby. He was absolute class, remember his debut against Derby like it was yesterday

Jan Molby is the best I’ve seen on loan. That game he hardly moved from the centre circle and class just oozed from him.

David Murphy was great for us. I believe he came on loan from Middlesbrough.

Chopra was great, but wasn't that in League One? He loses a mark for that.

Chris Lumsden was utterly brilliant for us on loan - to turn into an ale cart after signing properly.

I can't really remember Molby - before my time. Dike maybe suffers from a bit of recency bias.

My favourite was John Curtis. Was brilliant in that Bassett side that got to Wembley.

Best player - Jan Molby as others said just oozed class

Biggest impact on results - Kevin Long, without him the rise from bottom of the league may never have happened.

Trippier oozed class. Closely followed by Molby. Some of those others mentioned although very good players further on in their careers. Flattered to deceive for us as they were raw talents. Kent and Barnes no end products.

Great shout with Kevin Long. Ramage was very good for us also, in a similar mould.

John Curtis, last minute at Bumhole Lane and leading 3 - 2. All he has to do is put ball into car park and it's a win for the Reds
Fannied about and it's 3 - 3, Ref blows for full time. Absolutely gutted.
That apart I quite rated him..

I would have loved us to have signed Paul McShane.

Who was the defender we had on loan from Burnley? Kevin...something.

    Thought he was decent too.

Since everyone has already mentioned the real fantastic loan signings for us,

I thought George Waring was a decent in his stint with us, Joe Williams & Gardner for their majority of time with us did well too.
