    There could be many valid, and not necessarily negative, reasons they've not announced today.

    My point was that it's increased the expectation that an announcement is imminent and that the search has been concluded.

    If there's a long gap between announcing Eckert's departure and a new coach then it would look somewhat odd and raise questions as to why this is.

    You all forget nothing is ever simple or straight forward at Oakwell...sorry Grove street....getting rid of Eckert is another step towards their master plan whereby everything becomes a self service unit.....the players train themselves the spreadsheet data picks the team....tactics for the game might be a logistics problem due to shortage of HGV drivers ...crowds will become non existent it will be cheaper to televise the game by robotic cameras thus doing away with stewards...thinking about it
    We have already started....stands closed the New CEO being the biggest robotic puppet that's held the position so far in my estimation...the list is endless...

    I think that was due to Brexit Rules - not that we as a club didn't let him. The staff he wanted didn't have enough 'points' accumulated to get a working visa over here.

    When was there ever a time when questions weren't raised about footballing decisions? At our club or any other football club?
    Eckerts departure might have everything to do with the appointment of a new coach.
    On the other hand it might not.
    Before any announcement is made I'd rather all the ducks were in a row first.
